Third-day at Alva’s Virasat : Differently-abled artists amaze the gathering

Moodabidri: The third day of ‘Alva’s Virasat’, national cultural festival was enthralled by blind and differently-abled youths, as they performed extravagantly, at Palace Ground, Vidyagiri in Moodbidri on Saturday January 10.

The programme, ‘Akhiyon Ke Jharokon Se’ in which the blind and disabled artistes presented a program, left the audience spellbound.

This programme was presented by Nandu Productions and Nandu Kadams from Mumbai. The ability of one of the blind male artiste in perfectly mimicking female voice in singing beautifully came in for lavish praise.

‘Miracle on Wheels’, a visual presentation directed by Syed Salahuddin Pasha from New Delhi under the banner of ‘Ability Animated Foundation’ showcased their talent that was highly applauded from the audience.

Punjab, Gujarati and variety of folk dances performed by artistes of Ranga Malhar Performing Arts, Ahmedabad also performed during the event.
