Thieves Walk with Gold Worth 1.5 Lakh in Broad Daylight

Two unidentified individuals broke into a house in Karaya village and stole ₹1 lakh worth of jewelry from a woman, shocking the people of Belthangady in the process.

According to the authorities, on Saturday morning, a man and a woman went to Suhaiba’s house looking for drinking water. The two men entered the house and began looking through the bedroom when Suhaiba stepped inside to get water. Suhaiba saw this, grabbed her phone, and dialed her husband.

Suhaiba was physically attacked by the robbers, who also took the phone and threw it away. Suhaiba was forced to turn over the two gold rings and a gold necklace after the two threatened him with knives. According to the police, the criminals took off in a motorcycle as soon as Suhaiba sounded the alarm.

For offenses covered by Indian Penal Code Sections 450 and 394, the Uppinangady police filed a case. The police stated they were searching for the robbers.
