Puttur: The thieves barged inside Ishwarapangala Shri Panchalingeshwara temple and escaped with silver and cash on Sunday.
The incident came to light when the priest arrived to perform pooja on Monday, May 9.

The valuables worth lakhs of rupees have been stolen according to temple authorities.

ASP Rishyanth, Sampya SI Ravi visited the temple and are investigating the case. The canine and fingerprint squad too have been called to the spot.
