Mangalore: Thieves barged into a gas agency, a car service centre and a garage at Ladyhill late night on Thursday June 12. However, the thieves could not lay hands on any valuables in all the three firms.

The thieves broke into HP gas agency, Maruti Auto Point service centre and Baba Auto Works, by removing the window grills. It is said that the thieves could not find any money, but they took away cylinders and tools from the garage.

 In the HP gas agency, books and papers were found strewn all over the floor, indicating that the thieves might have been searching for money or something valuable.

 A case has been registered in Barke police station.
