Moodbidri : Theives stole silver worth 24 thousand rupees from New Saurabha Jewellers shop at Kallamundkur on Monday July 14. The shop belongs to one Yogish Acharya.

The incident came to know when he opened the shop Tuesday morning. Thieves took away rings and silver chains which were kept inside the showcase.

Gold is safe as they failed to open Safe locker.

Locals have informed the police about the Maroon color Maruthi car which was parked near the shop.

Sub inspector Ramesh Kumar arrived to the spot and investigation is on.
