Mangaluru: It was an evening of pure musical magic as the soulful melodies of different eras touched the hearts of the audience gathered to witness the night of ‘The Classics’, a concert presented by Flashback events in association with Hotel Kateel International, on  Sunday, January 24.

The evening was dedicated to bringing back the nostalgia of the lovely and meaningful numbers ranging from the Hindi classics to the regional masterpieces.

Gopi Kamath, an engineer by profession and a musician by choice from the past 25 years, set the tone of the evening with his melodious renditions of various songs.

He was supported with the commendable performance of the beautiful and talented Nirupama Dey of the Sa ra ga ma pa 2007 fame who has made her name in the Hindi music industry as a playback singer.

Sameer Vijaykumar, who enjoys singing Mohd Rafi songs also had the audience enthralled with his magical performance.

All in all it was an evening of nostalgia for music lovers who left the venue with smiles on their faces in appreciation of the enjoyable and entertaining evening.
