Mangaluru: The revision of textbooks being carried out by the BJP-led State Government is intended to correct anomalies and instil a sense of nationalism among people, said BJP National General Secretary C. T. Ravi.

He was speaking at a Citizens Council-hosted interactive session on ‘Textbook Politics – Truth and Myth’ at Mangaluru’s Sangha Nikethan.

Meanwhile, in Shivamogga, Social Welfare Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary claimed that a series of lies were being spread on textbook revision, which is a routine procedure that is given out whenever required.
