Mangaluru: The Hindu Maha Sabha activists visited the Vaidyanath Temple in the city’s Shaktinagar in the backdrop of the temple’s name being mentioned in the list of illegal religious establishments which are likely to be evicted as per Supreme Court order.

Speaking on the occasion, Naveen Kumar Surathkal, the General Secretary of the Hindu Maha Sabha said that the legislator of this area has come to power in the name of Hindu protection. However, it is sad that the same legislator is not talking a word against demolition of temples due to some fear. In coming days if no words are uttered or actions are taken in this regard, we would come out to streets in protest, he stressed.

Hindu Maha Sabha State President Dr. L. K. Suvarna, District Organisational Secretary Shivaprasad, District General Secretary Praveen Chandra Rao and District Vice President Jagdish Pumpwell were present.

Meanwhile at the press conference held, Dharmendra stated that just like Gandhiji was killed for going against Hindus, he warned Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai of meeting the same fate.
