Mangalore : A 13 year old boy drowned in the MCC Swimming pool in the city on October 25, Friday.

It is  learnt that Sohan from Bolur, who had learnt swimming just recently, had arrived at the pool with five friends for  swimming  at around 7 pm.

But the staff there who felt suspicious  on seeing him float unnaturally in the pool, immediately lifted him up and rushed him to the hospital.  However, he was declared  brought dead. He was the son of Somashekhar, Prameela couple of Bolur.

Barke police have registered a case.
