Mangalore : Uday Kumar who was driving his Swift car from Mangalore to Suratkal on Saturday August 9, escaped the jaws of death by a hair’s breadth when his car was practically crushed between two tankers  near Kulur.

The mishap occurred when Uday’s car was caught in a traffic jam. A tanker which was behind his car suddenly moved and rammed into the car from behind. The car then crashed against another tanker which was in front of it. The car was badly smashed, but to Uday’s good luck he suffered only minor bruises.

Suratkal traffic police have registered a case.
