Mangaluru: U T Khader, state health minister is not only a efficient politician but has also proved as an able cricketer by hutting 9 sixes in just three overs in a cricket match held in Sullia.

The minister was invited as the chief guest for the sports meet held in Bellare in Sullia Taluk. Soon after the stage programme he joined a team batting first and sportively took up batting and in his short innings, hit 9 sixes and 3 boundaries of 19 balls.

One of the chief guests of the sports meet Rashid Vittal bowled few deliveries to the minister where he demonstrated his batting skills.

The power packed innings ended as he was bowled in the fourth over.

The organisers and the audience lauded the performance of the minsiter who was in high spirits even after having busy schedule being a helath minister of state.
