Bantwal: The SVS College managed to get 3.31 marks during third round evaluation by a team of experts from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and thereby received A grade certification.
The NAAC team visited research facilities, digital library and analysed academic performance during previous years, support to sporting activities, excellence of teaching staff and basic infrastructure before grading the college.

The NAAC team interacted with college administration, alumni, teaching and non–teaching staff, teacher protection council members and students of the college and was convinced about the college’s overall achievements in diverse fields.

The NAAC team evaluation took place between September 8 -10, 2016. The team instructed to improve upon the current structure to achieve better results in future.

The team comprised, retired Vice Chancellor of Shivaji University Prof. Vasant Chavan, Prof. Rajalakshmi of Rajendra autonomous college, Sambalpur and Dr. M P Guptha of Rajiv Gandhi Government College in Chhattisgarh.
