Mangaluru: The Congress-led government in the state is an anti-Hindu government that has been supporting organizations responsible for the murder of several Hindu activists, alleged Pramod Muthalik. His statement comes in the backdrop of the NIA charge-sheet naming PFI, SDPI activists in the murder of RSS worker Rudresh.

Speaking to media persons here Muthalik said, ” Not only Rudresh, but PFI was also responsible for the murder of K Raju from Mysore and that of Prashanth Poojary in a planned manner”.

The Sri Rama Sene chief was in town on Monday, April 24 to appear before the Mangaluru District Court in connection with 2009 Pub attack case.

Demanding a ban on PFI, Muthalik added that he had met the then state home minister R Ashok during the BJP regime when PFI activists had abducted and murdered Hunsur students for ransom. However the government did not pay any heed.

Coming down heavily on the Congress government Muthalik said, “This government has withdrawn 200 cases pertaining to KFD. It can thus be understood that this government instead of banning the organisation is supporting it. These murders of Hindu leaders are Congress government encouraged murders and it clearly is an Anti-Hindu government.”

Further he said that Sri Rama Sena will contest for upcoming Vidhana Sabha elections.

“Activists can independently contest the elections. Sri Rama Sene is a non-political organization. Politically we need power hence we are discussing it,” he said.
