Sunil Menezes re-elected as General Secretary of Konkani Natak Sabha

Mangaluru: The 71st annual general meeting of Konkani Natak Sabha was held on 30th November 2014 at Don Bosco Hall, here. The meeting was presided over by the President Fr Peter Cyprian D’Souza.

The general secretary Sunil Menezes read out the 70th annual general meeting report and annual report of the year 2013-14.

The treasurer Prem Lobo presented the audited accounts as on 31st March 2014 and read out the auditor’s report. President Fr Cyprian D’Souza welcomed. General Secretary Sunil Menezes proposed the vote of thanks.

As per the byelaw of the Konkani Natak Sabha, the newly elected managing committee members meeting was held on December 9 at Don Bosco Hall to elect the new office bearers for the year 2014-16.

Sunil Menezes was unanimously re-elected as the general secretary of the Sabha for the fourth consecutive term.

The office bearers elected for the next two years term are:

Prem Lobo- vice president

Sunil Menezes – general secretary

Judith D’Souza- joint secretary

Gery Concessao- treasurer

Adolphus Cutinha, CGS Tacode, Raymond D’Cunha, and Felix D’Silva were elected as co-opted members for the managing committee.

President Fr Cyprian D’Souza welcomed and conducted the elections. The charge was taken over by the newly elected office bearers. The general secretary Sunil Menezes proposed the vote of thanks.
