Mangaluru: Bharath Sevadal founder Dr Narayana Subbarao Hardikar’s 127th birth anniversary was celebrated today at District Congress Office.

Speaking on the occasion, District Chief Organiser of Congress Sevadal H M Ashraf said that, Hardikar is a role model for all politicians. His life teaches how to live a simple life.

“During freedom fight, he encouraged all the youths to participate in the fight against the British rule by joining Bharath Sevadal. He had a clean political image. He served the society without any political selfishness. He is the main reason to organise Belagavi Congress Session,” he said.

Mudipu Sevadala Block Chief Organiser Harish M S and District General Secretary Mohandas Kottary were present.
