Mangalore: A Students Association has been formed and inaugurated for the first time at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College .The Association was inauguarted by Rev. Fr. Denis DSa , Administrator, Father Muller Medical College.
Dr Srinath Rao welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest as well as the new Administrator of FMHMC, Rev. Fr. Vincent Vinod Saldanha. The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp. Dr Shivaprasad.
The Staff Advisor of the Students Association introduced the President and the Office Bearers of the Students Association. He also explained the duties and the functioning of the council which was then followed by the Oath taking ceremony by the student council.
The Chief Guest delivered his speech and also interacted with the gathering. He insisted on the responsibilities of the president and the office bearers. He explained that the role of the student council is to form leadership, involve in the decision making and executing the plans.
The Chief Guest was felicitated with a shawl and a memento. The programme ended with the institutional programme followed by refreshments.
