Mangaluru: A 19-year-old student of a city-based college, who was receiving treatment at a private hospital after he met with an accident near Mangaladevi 10 days ago, succumbed on Sunday, November 18.

The victim has been identified as Pruthwi. He met with an accident when he was plying from Cascia junction to Mangaladevi junction in a motorcycle along with his friend Shresht (19) on the night of November 8.. The motorcycle on which he was plying was hit by another motorcycle, which came from the opposite direction. Pruthwi was rushed to a private hospital in the city with severe head injuries. Even after 10 days of treatment at the hospital, Pruthwi succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, sources said.
