On May 13, an undergraduate living under the Bellare police station’s jurisdiction committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree close to his home.

Charan Kumar K, son of Hukrappa, a native of Bellare village’s Nettaru Kinnimajalu and a student at a private institution in the taluk, has been identified as the deceased.
After visiting the home, Bellare police filed a report.
