St Aloysius University is elated to announce the eagerly awaited ‘Aloysian Fest 2024,’ a national-level undergraduate celebration set to unfold its grandeur on March 16 within the campus premises. This marks a historic occasion as the first-of-its-kind event in the institution’s illustrious 144-year history since attaining the status of Deemed to be University. Notably, all postgraduate departments will unite to host their annual fests concurrently on this remarkable day.
The primary goal of the Aloysian Fest is to offer a vibrant platform for students from across the nation to exhibit their exceptional skills, talents, and innovative ideas through a diverse array of events, competitions, and performances.
The fest comprises seven distinctive fests:
Under the patronage and guidance of Fr Melwin J Pinto SJ (Rector), Dr Praveen Martis SJ (Vice-Chancellor, In-Charge), and Dr Alwyn D’Sa (Registrar & COE), the Aloysian Fest has an advisory committee including Dr Loveena Lobo, Dr Ronald Nazareth, and Dr P P Sajimon. Meticulously planned by the staff coordinators, Dr Florin Shelomith Soans and Dr Nilakanthan V K, along with assistant staff coordinators Renita Fernandes and Jovita Carrol Soans, the fest aims for unparalleled success.
Anticipated to attract participation from more than 80 colleges nationwide, the Aloysian Fest 2024 promises an unforgettable experience. With an atmosphere already buzzing with festive vibes, the event is poised to deliver an exhilarating celebration, not merely an occasion but a manifestation of students’ boundless capacity for innovation and expression.
