Mangaluru: The Students Help Centre in association with SPEEDEX mentorship solutions and newskarnataka.com will be organising the first of its kind initiative for students “Let’s Talk Careers with John Fernandes” during the months of February and March, 2015.
The initiative is directed at students passing out of class X, XII and those pursuing their final year UG/PG courses in any discipline, with the objective of enhancing their decision making ability and confidence, providing a platform for these teenagers to voice their problems and provide tips to overcome such issues and helping them develop responsibility and goal orientation to enable them secure a bright future.
The key features of the initiative include Interactive sessions with the students, Career guidance and Goal setting exercises’, group counselling and problem solving inputs for students, tips to balance academics- life-work and talent mapping. Each session is expected to last two hours.
