Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District In-Charge Minister B Ramanath Rai on Saturday January 23, inaugurated the Fruit and Flower Exhibition held as part of the Karavali Utsav at Kadri Park here.
A special Tenkuthittu Yakshagana depiction created by a team led by Umashankar from Mysuru has been drawing a huge number of visitors towards it. The set comprises a 11 ft tall Arjuna, 10.5 ft Krishna, a Bhagavat and chande and mrudangam players. Out of this, Krishna and Arjuna have been created using 22,000 flowers including 12,000 roses, 2,000 chrysanthemum and 40 bunches of orchids.
Likewise several creative displays of musical instruments and living creatures have been garnering great attention.
