Mangalore :Spandana Trust celebrated Christmas on December 21 at the Sisters of Charity Hall of Infant Mary’s Convent. The programme aimed at bring smiles on the faces of the sick inmates and their family members. The programme was organised with the co-operation of the Amritha Self Help Group.







Ref. Sr Sylvia who presided over the function, spoke about the significance of Christmas and added that the Sisters of Charity was helping the poor and downtrodden in true spirit as per the message given by Jesus. She also stressed the need for mutual help and understanding that can bring about peace and harmony in the society.
The Amritha SHG members presented a cultural programme. Christmas songs were also rendered.
