Mangaluru: The Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Society of St. Vincent De Paul (SSVP), Mangaluru Central Council will be held on 3rd November 2019 at the St. Sebastian Jubilee Hall, Bendur, Mangalore. The vision of SSVP is to be a global Catholic Charity Organisation providing aid, development, and hope to the poor and the marginalized. It was established in Paris, France in the year 1833. Its Mangalore Central Council was established in the year 1959. Diamond Jubilee Celebrations will be presided by Rt. Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese and the Chief Guest will be Bro. Johnson Varghese, President, National Council of India, SSVP.

The Guests of Honour will be Bro. Francis Victor, Vice President, National Council of India, SSVP; Bro Amancio Fernandes, Western Region Coordinator, SSVP, and Rev. Fr. Vincent Monteiro, Parish Priest, Bendur Church, Mangalore.
