Social sevice should be taught in early childhood: Filmmaker Mandya Ramesh

Mangaluru: Only when you think of giving something to society can you serve. Lions agency continuously serving the society renowned filmmaker and actor theatre artist Mandya Ramesh said.

Regional President Umesh Prabhu, as a chief guest addressed the function in Tulu, later spoke in Kannada at the Krishna Heritage, near Ladyhill, in the city on Wednesday, in Lions District 317D at Region5’s “Provincial Conference” entitled “Nakshatra”.

He said he was satisfied with the opportunity to serve the people. Lions, who was at the forefront of the service, opined that serving should be taught in early childhood.

“The district is known for its many activities such as art, literature, education, industry, and worship. Coming to the DK District, where he has made many contributions in many fields, is a joy and excitement for me” he said.

Regional President Umesh Prabhu said that as a Lion, there should be a concern for society. one should possess the serving attitude. Our team is proud to have managed the service well. The role of everyone has been important in our ongoing service through our Lions team. He said he would congratulate everyone involved in the service.

During the program, Dr. Vaishnavi Kini a musician specializing in music, and Mrs. Shantala who excelled in Sanskrit was honored.

Distribution of financial aid:

The program was funded by the District Dialysis Center. The checks were handed over to the Center’s principal PDG KC Prabhu and Shanteri Prabhu by President Umesh Prabhu. District Governor Dr. Geeta Prakash, meanwhile, provided financial assistance to the district.
Mrs. Asha C. Shetty, Chairperson of the Provincial Conference Committee. Treasurer Jairaj Prakash, Zone Chairperson Swarup N Shetty, Rabindranath Shetty, Provincial Advisor Nagesh Kumar NJ, and Zonal Advisor Jeevan Das Shetty were also present. The conference’s consultants were Govardhan Shetty, Arvind Shenoy, and Public Relations Officer, Venkatesh Baliga.
