Mangaluru: A Skills and Simulation centre, Advanced Research Centre and Robotic Surgery facility was inaugurated at Yenepoya University by Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala on Saturday, July 30.

Vajubhai Vala who spoke on the occasion said that people who are sincere and have potential should be given opportunity.

“There are a lot of intelligent people, but the sincere ones should always be given an opportunity first. Literacy rate in women has increased nowadays. Since women are sincere, more opportunities should be created for them. Men should also be a part of the development of the society. This would balance the contribution by both men and women to the society,” he said.

Technology has enabled transplantation of liver, kidney and heart and he was sure that even brain might be transplanted soon in the country.

“All the good things we received are due to the blessings from God. We should return all the good things in the same way to the society. This is what I have observed from Yenepoya University’s accomplishments,” he added.
