Mangalore: A suspected shoot-out at Bharathi Developers office in Bejai created a chaos in the surrounding area on Monday March 10.

According to the office employees, two unidentified men came to the office with a letter wanting to meet the owner of Bharathi Developer. But when the staff said that it was not possible for them to meet the  owner, they held a pistol and allegedly threatened to kill them.

As per the speculation, the bedlam might have caused a misfiring, they said.

The police have ultimately determined there was no shooting.However a bullet has been found and traces around the office are suspicious.

Police Commissioner R Hitendra  has stated that there was no shootout, but he has also said that there can be a confirmation only after the footage of the CCTV camera is verified and further investigation is done.
