Bangalore: The BJP has ultimately finalised the names of DV Sadananda Gowda from Mysore and Shobha Karandlaje from Udupi Chikmagalur constituency.  R Ashok has been chosen party candidate from Bangalore North.

The above decision was taken at the Core Committee  meeting of BJP held at the residence of former Deputy CM R Ashok at Jayanagar. With this announcement, the BJP has finalised candidates for most of the LS constituencies in the state.

Here it may be mentioned that there was a tussle between DV Sadananda Gowda and R Ashok for a ticket from Bangalore North. During the meeting both agreed to heed to the party’s decision  and said if not given a ticket they would work  for the party in the elections.
