Kasargod: Dr. A Srinivas has taken over as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Kasargod on May 16.

A native of Shivamogga, Dr. A Srinivas took charge from outgoing SP K G Simon.

Dr. Srinivas had earlier served here as SP between February 24, 2015 and June 14, 2016.

He had served in the state’s crime branch, before being reinstated as SP of Kasargod.
