Mangalore:The Shirdi Sai Baba statue  was installed at the newly built Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir at Sri Gokarnanatha Temple, Kudroli on October 10, Friday. Various religious rituals were held to mark the occasion. The five foot, seven inch tall marble statue was  the gift of   Santosh Kumar Poojari, the son of former union minister B Janardhan Poojari.

The religious rituals were held  under the guidance of Temple Priest Lokesh Shanthi. The  women priests of the temple also offered Aarati to the statue.

The Janardhan Poojari couple, Temple Committee President  HS Sairam, Harikrishna Bantwal and others were present.
