Kasargod : Kumble police have appealed to the court seeking police custody of all the three accused who are arrested in the case of the murder of Shafique (25), son of BA Mohammad, former member of Kumble Gram Panchayat. All the three are presently in judicial custody. The police want  to gather more information from the accused in the case.

It is learnt, the cops have so far not been successful in recovering the weapons used to execute the murder. Those arrested in the case are Asir (21) of Bandyodu Muttam, Abdul Salam (21) of Peral and Naushad  (21) of Naikapu.

Shafique was found murdered on February 26. His body was found buried in sand near a construction site.
