Mangaluru: A 32-year-old bus driver was arrested in Kavoor, in Dakshina Kannada District, on charges of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, informed police.

The accused, who is from Bagalkot District, is accused of sexually assaulting the girl at a residence in Kavoor a few days ago.

According to the sources, the accused was arrested on Sunday January 30 after a complaint was filed at the Women’s Police Station under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
