Mangaluru: Miscreants pelted stones at a victory procession being taken out by BJP party workers at Adyarpadavu at around 8:00 PM on Tuesday May 15 injuring seven persons.

The injured were identified as Vanajakashaiah, Lokesh, Deviprasad, Arun, Abhijith, Ashok and Safwan.

According to reports, the party workers were celebrating their victory in the recently held polls, results of which was announced yesterday,

The KSRP, RPF and Civil police rushed to the spot immediately and situation was brought under control.

A case has been registered at Mangaluru Rural Police station.
