Mangaluru: Three persons sustained grievous injuries after the driver of a speeding Scorpio lost control over the vehicle and rammed into a couple of vehicles. The serial accident took place near Platinum theatre on Monday February 15.

According to sources, the SUV first rammed into a car and then an auto-rickshaw, before ramming into a compound wall.

The injured are Ahmed (62) and Shahida (35), residents of Bhatkal. Another person named Dayanada (51), an auto-driver, has also sustained serious injuries on his head. They have been rushed to hospital.
