Belthangady: A septuagenarian died of a cardiac arrest while he was about to cast his vote, at Andinje in Belthangady taluk.

The deceased is Anni Acharya, 70, form Jarigedadi of Andinje village.

A carpenter by profession Acharya had reached Andinje school premises when he suffered the attack and died on the spot.
