Mangaluru: Senior journalist Raviraj Valalambe passed away on Tuesday, January 8 night, after suffering a cardiac arrest.

According to sources, Raviraj complained of chest pain while at his house located in Kinnimulki, Udupi, immediately after which he was rushed to a hospital. However, he breathed his last before arriving at the hospital.

Raviraj served as director of Prime TV, Udupi. Prior to this, he worked as a reporter for Etv in Udupi for several years and later worked as a political correspondent for Suvarna channel.

Raviraj is survived by his wife and two children.
