Mangaluru: The Election Commission of India has provided the opportunity for senior citizens (aged 85 and above) and disabled individuals to cast their votes via postal ballot.

This commendable initiative was carried out in the 203-Mangalore City (South) Legislative Assembly constituency, where eligible voters were visited at their homes to facilitate voting from April 15 to 17.

The process was led by the Assistant Election Officer of South Mangalore, Girish Nandan, and officials went door-to-door to conduct the voting process.

The mastering and de-mastering work took place at Canara High School and HPS.
