Mangalore: After the KSRTC increased the general fare of the buses plying on few routes, passengers started complaining about the fare being hiked; the Social Democratic Party of India has also condemned the hike and protested against it.

On Wednesday May 7, the SDPI district unit agitated against the hike.

On the other hand, in order to mitigate the inconvenience of the people KSRTC has been considering a review to revise the fares again, said a KSRTC Mangalore division official.
