Kasargod: A school bus fell from a bridge near Nellikunje here on Monday June 23 in the evening hours.

Around eleven children of a special school at Alampady along with the driver of the school bus was also injured in the mishap.

The injured have been identified as Savad, Hasainar, Aslam, Hameed, Ramseena, Abdul, Fahad, Mohammad Sharif, Razak, driver Mohammed and others.

According to the bystanders the bus driver lost control while moving over the bridge and the vehicle fell into the water below.

The firemen and the locals came to the rescue of the injured and also moved the bus out of the water. They were admitted to Kasargod general hospital.
