Mangaluru: The Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration, a unit of the NITTE Education Trust Group, is celebrating Aati by organising “Aatidonji Koota” on August 3 at the NITTE campus in Kodakal.
The event, which is being held to give the people a taste of Aati cuisine, will kick off on Saturday with a cultural programme at 11 AM.
Lion Kadri Navaneeth Shetty will be the chief guest of the inaugural function. Principal Prof. Amar Z Cherian, Senior Lecturer Veda J Rai, staff in-charge Joel Lobo, President Nitin Kamath and Secretary Rachel Crasto will be the other guests present.
Lunch will be served at the venue at a price of Rs 100. As many as 24 varieties of mouth-watering Tulunadu dishes including Panaka, Manjal Iretha Addey, Pelakay Addey, Kottige – Padengi Ghasi, Thimare Chutney, Tevu- Ambade Chutney, Ettidapodi Chutney, Uppadachil, Tajank Pelathari Palya, Kanile-Padengi Upkari, Pathrode, Menthe Ganji, Tevudantda Sambar, Punarpuli Rasam and Saraneda Addey will be available.
