Mangalore: As part of the newly launched Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will take up development of a village in Sullia taluk.

Sources said that Mr Kateel chose Sullia, which is deprived of basic facilities and it has a large forest cover and has areas that needs to be developed.

Sources said that he will choose the village after getting inputs from Sullia MLA S Angara, who is the lone BJP MLA elected from the district.

Central government launched the scheme recently meant for all round development of village by using the resources available with the MP.
