Mangaluru: Following the death of Kashi Math Sri Sudheendrateertha Swamiji, his disciple Sri Samyamindrateertha Swamiji will become the 21st spiritual head of Kashi Math. He will take charge on January 28 at Vyasa Mandir at Sri Kashi Math premises in Haridwar, in presence of senior members and well-wishers of GSB community.

Swami Sudheendrateertha Swamiji was laid to rest on Monday morning in presence of his followers from various parts of the country.

Various religious rituals and programmes connected with post-funeral rites will be performed for 13 days at Haridwar.

On Monday, most of the business establishments run by the GSB community members remained closed. Educational institutions were given holiday following death of Swamiji.
