Mangaluru: The police have arrested one more person in connection to murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga.

The arrested is Vishwanath Bhat, said to be a close associate of prime accused Naresh Shenoy, who is at large.

Bhat, said to be also a close associated of Samyamindra Swamy of Kashi Math hails from Kochi in Kerala. He is said to be constantly in touch with Shenoy.

It has been more than a month since RTI activist Baliga was hacked to death, but police couldn’t find any lead to arrest Naresh Shenoy, whose anticipatory bail was rejected by the court recently.
