Mangaluru: Another accused in the murder of RTI activist, Vinayak Pandurang Baliga has been taken into police custody and the department is likely to make the announcement within a couple of days

Shiva, one of the accused, was one among the three against whom the police served lookout notice.

His name was revealed by Nishit and Vineet, who were arrested earlier by police.

The police are still on the hunt for Yuva Brigade leader, Naresh Shenoy and Srikant whose involvement is suspected in the murder.  The police had served lookout notice against Shiva, Srikant, and Naresh Shenoy.

Sources said that the police believe that Srikant had hired the contract killers and Shiva executed the murder plan.

Baliga’s murder is still an unsolved mystery with finger pointing towards several bigwigs, as he had exposed several violations committed by them.
