RTI Activist murder case: Another accused arrested

Mangaluru: City police arrested one more person on June 18, regarding the murder case of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga.

The arrested is Srikanth (42) from Shanthinagar, Kavoor. He is said to be one of the four prime accused in the case. The contract killers Vinith and Nishith who are in police custody were allegedly hired by Srikanth.

Police had earlier served a lookout notice against Naresh Shenoy, Shiva and Srikanth after suspecting the involvement of the trio.
 
Srikanth was arrested in Mulki. Urwa police station officer Ravish Naik and his team made the arrest.

He is the sixth person arrested regarding the case. Naresh Shenoy, the prime accused is absconding in the murder case which took place on March 21 at Kodilabail.
