Mangaluru: The Urwa police led by SI Ravish Naik arrested rowdy sheeter Sampath Bhandary here on May 4 near Panjimogaru.

Sampath Bhandary (35) was nabbed by the cops for allegedly threatening and demanding money from Mahima Bus service owner with a weapon.

Bhandary is also the main accused in the murder of rowdy sheeter Rohi alias Rohidas Shetty from Vamanjoor in 2009; however the second additional court had released him on bail. He has been involved in more than ten cases at Kavoor police station.
