Mangaluru: The Rotaract Club at Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce & Management organized a virtual program on the special occasion of Independence day 2021. The entire program was pre-recorded and premiered on the YouTube platform at 07:30 p.m. on 16/08/2021.

Principal Dr Parvadhavardhini Gopalakrishnan gave her presidential speech in which she remembered the freedom fighters and the martyrs for their sacrifices towards making this country free from the British and also wished all Indians a Happy Independence Day.

Various programs like patriotic songs, dances and small skits were performed by the Rotaract members and the faculty members of YIASCM.

The president of the Rotaract Club at YIASCM Rtrn Tasmiya Muskan welcomed the gathering and the coordinator Mr Mervin Jaison Vas, proposed the vote of thanks. More than 550 Viewers including Students, Faculty members, Club Coordinators, Parents and the Rotary club members were online during the program. The program was compered by a number of students of the club. The event was concluded with singing the National Anthem.
