“Restart lottery scheme in Karnataka”, District Association formed

Mangaluru: The Karnataka State Lottery Dealers’ Association has urged state government to restart the Lottery scheme.

The Karnataka state lottery scheme was started in 1969 which had helped many persons be self employed. It had changed the economic conditions of many people.

But later on it was stopped due to which 8 lakh people, who were dependent on lottery business were affected.

People have wrong notion on lottery business. Even the state govt has not taken any serious note on this. Lottery scheme can boost life of of many. So in this regard we have started committees in districts across the state, said State president of the association C Ramakrishna.

Similarly a district committee was formed here in the city on Monday. Manish was elected as district president, Shashikumar as the secretary, Gokul as vice president and 8 persons were elected as directors.
