Puttur: Two accused who were arrested for attempting to rape a SSLC student here in Bannur have been sent to judicial custody.
Shridhar and Rajesh, relatives of the minor girl had taken her to a remote place and attempted to rape her when she was returning home after writing SSLC examination few days back.

The accused were booked under POCSO Act and police produced the duo before the court. The have been sent to judicial custody.
