Moodbidri: Ranjith Shetty of Alvas Engineering college won gold medal in the inter college Weightlifting championship of Vishweshwariah Technical University.

The competition was held here on September 25 at NITTE NMAMET college.

He won the competition in the 62 kg category with a record. He also won the best weight lifter award of Vishweshwariah technical college.
