Mangaluru: District In-charge minister B Ramanath Rai kick started district-level Dasara Sports meet organised by DK district administration, Zilla Panchayath, Mangaluru City Corporation and District Youth Empowerment and Sports Department in Mangala Stadium here on Sunday, September 10.

“With their sportsman spirit and hard-work several sportsman have emerged from district for National and International level competitions. Students should take part in sports and bring fame to this district. These kind of sports meet will help you excel in sports and build your career in future,” Ramanath Rai.

MLC Ivan D’ Souza said that government is organizing this Dasara Sports meet to support the students and hence the students should utilize this opportunity. He opined that any individual who cultivates sportsman spirit will succeed in his life.

MCC Mayor Kavitha Sanil, ZP Standing committee member Sahul Hameed and others were present.
